According to the USDA, Americans eat over 30 pounds of cheese per year. Mozzarella is the most popular in the US, cheddar the most popular in the UK. Cheese trends go in and out of style, too. Remember baked brie? As you travel the world, or even your own country, there are regional specialties. And today, there are artisanal cheeses being made in every corner of every state. High quality, small batch cow, goat, and sheep cheeses abound, so it’s not just slices of Swiss or American that are topping our sandwiches.
There are hundreds and hundreds of recipes with cheese in the title on ReciFoto. I can’t even begin to tell how many more have cheese in the recipe but not the title. Here’s a morsel of our users cheese recipes. As usual, our bias is toward recipes from decades past.
