I have not yet seen ReciFoto on one of the new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus models yet. I bet it looks great, and makes some of that smaller print easier to read without tapping and pinching out to zoom. If you have used it on one of the new phones, let us know what you think, and send a screenshot of it to firstname.lastname@example.org!
I have an iPhone 5s, and have been enjoying iOS8 so far, and it works great with ReciFoto, helping suggest what word comes next when typing. The dictation function is also much better than it used to be. It is more accurate, and it shows the words you are saying almost as quickly as you speak them. Give it a shot, either with ReciFoto, texts, e mails or whatever you do with your iPhone that involves typing.
I did notice one glitch caused by iOS8 with ReciFoto, and it only seems to be a problem with my iPhone, not my iPad*. When you are trying to leave a comment below a recipe, the bar that suggests words covers up the ReciFoto bar that shows your comment and the send button. Now that we know about this problem, we’ll fix it in the next update, along with a few other improvements. In the meantime, if you want to leave a comment, you can log in to www.recifoto.com and log in with the same username and password you use for the app and leave your comments using the website. When you go back to the app, though, you’ll have to log in again on the app.
Have you noticed any other issues caused by iOS8? Please let us know at email@example.com
*I have since figured out that if you swipe down on the word suggestion bar, you can see the comment that your are typing and press send. Nonetheless, we’ll work on making this work better in the update.
