Happy Sunday, everyone. And to those celebrating, happy Easter, and/or Passover. It’s nice to see Spring finally begin to take route here in suburban New York. Forsythia and daffodils are blooming, trees are budding, and allergy sufferers are sniffling.
For those of you in search of a really intelligent weekly digest of news about women, mostly but not entirely women in business, I highly recommend my friend Lauren Zalaznick’s LZ Sunday Paper. Each week, it will make you, laugh, think, and want to dig deeper into issues. There’s a link for you to subscribe so you’ll get it in your inbox every Sunday morning.
Lauren has been a friend since the first minute of the first hour of the first day of college. Always with her finger of the pulse of culture in all forms – she introduced me to General Hospital in its heyday with Luke and Laura – she has had her finger in some of the most influential television over the last 25 years. There’s scarcely a baby boomer out there that has not been transfixed watching programming for which she has been responsible, from VH1’s Pop Up Videos, Divas, and Behind the Music, to anything that has been on Bravo in the last decade, starting with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Project Runway, Top Chef, and Real Housewives of a Million Different Places.
On top of all that, she is a super-dedicated mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, public citizen, and a total beast in Words with Friends.
So, get the LZ Sunday Paper. Read it, subscribe and tell your friends. it will make them think you’re cooler than you are.
